Essential Steps for Organizational Readiness

(Assessment & Readiness — Non-Negotiable)
This service is a required foundation for all engagements. No systems are activated, redesigned, or scaled without this assessment completion.
This phase establishes a clear, evidence-based understanding of how your organization is operating today—before change is introduced. Skipping this step creates risk, misalignment, and unsustainable outcomes. Phase I ensures improvements are defensible, compliant, and operationally realistic.
What We Do
Organizational Readiness Assessment
We assess operational maturity, governance, leadership alignment, and frontline realities to determine readiness for system activation. Proceeding without readiness validation leads to failure downstream—this step is not optional.
Regulatory & Accreditation Alignment
We validate alignment across CMS Conditions of Participation and accrediting bodies (e.g., Joint Commission, DNV). Any identified gaps are addressed before activation to reduce compliance risk and survey exposure.
Critical Consumer & Operational Touchpoint Mapping
We map high-impact consumer and operational touchpoints across the patient journey, including CMS border hour requirements and 2026 readiness. These touchpoints define where experience, throughput, and compliance intersect—and where systems most often fail.
Data Integrity & Verification Points
We define and validate data sources, handoffs, and controls to ensure executive-level trust in reporting. Decisions are only as good as the data behind them; unverified data is a non-starter.
Resource & Support Gap Identification
We identify staffing, role clarity, workflow, and support service gaps that limit performance—even when clinical teams appear fully staffed. Operational strain is often hidden outside of clinical roles.
Policy-to-Practice Validation
We confirm that written policies align with real-world execution. Policies that cannot be operationalized are re-evaluated before system changes move forward.
Outcomes
- A validated diagnostic view of current-state performance
- Early identification of compliance and accreditation risk
- Confirmed integrity of operational and experience data
- Clear prioritization of system-level improvement opportunities
- A defensible, reality-based foundation for Phase II activation
Our Standard
This service covers four critical questions—without assumption:
What is happening? Why is it happening? How is it actually working? When does it break down?
